Call for Special Sessions Proposals

Prospective special session organisers are invited to submit proposals for Special Sessions at LACNEM 2009. Special Sessions at LACNEM will provide opportunities to focus on specific topics of the conference by bringing together eminent researchers and authors of the newest findings in the field, potentially resulting in an impact to the direction of research in that topic.

The session organisers will manage the selection and submission process for the respective session papers. They are encouraged to also include an introductory paper in the session, covering an overview of the selected topic.

Proposals for special sessions should include the following details:

1. the title of the proposed session;
2. the names and contact details of the organisers;
3. a tentative list of authors and paper topics.

Please send special session proposals to the special session chairs by the deadline for proposals - that is the 15th of February 2009.
